Tablets and syrup against raised body temperature and pains
Composition: Each tablet contains: 500 mg of paracetamol 5 ml of syrup contains: 120 mg of paracetamol
Action: Contained in tablets and syrup is paracetamol, effectively lowering the raised body temperature and relieving pains of various ethyology.
Indications:
- pains of various ethyology and localization (headache, neuralgia, neuritis, polyneuritis, postoperative pains, toothache, menstrual pains, ischialgia, rheumatic difficulties)
- raised body temperature
- substitute for salicylates when their usage is found to be contraindicated (in dyspepsia or digestive disorders, stomach ulcer or during anticoagulant therapy – administration of drugs against blood
coagulation)
Dosage and administration: Adults may take not more than 8 tablets a day; single dose is ½ to 2 tablets with 4 to 6 hour interval between doses. Children from 3 months to 1 year old are recommended to take ½ - 1 dosing spoon of syrup; from 1 to 5 years old 1-2 dosing spoons of syrup, and from 6 to 12 years old 2-4 dosing spoons of syrup. The above single doses may be administered every 4 to 6 hours, if necessary. Not more than up to 4 single doses may be administered.
Special warnings: Paracetamol medication in pregnancy is conducted according to doctor’s advice, and caution should be taken in patients with damaged liver and kidney function.
